The KAHIME has been designated for accreditation of higher education programs by the Ministry of Education the authority in August 2020 for the first time in Korea and redesignated in July 2024, in accordance with Article 11-2 of the Higher Education Act and Article 6 (5) of the Regulation on Evaluation and Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions.
