KAHIME(President Yoo-Kyung Boo) signed an MOU with KHIMA(Korean Health Information Management Association, Chairman Sung-Hong Kang) in February 2020.  In the MOU, KHIMA designated KAHIME as the certification body for health & medical information management education programs to recognize the qualification for taking the RHIA examination.

KHIMA previously (In December 2019), made agreement with AHIMA(CAHIIM) for Certification Examination Reciprocity and has been establishing the certification program.​
